Australia Day Award for Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation

The Governor General of Australia has recognised Blue Dragon’s work in Vietnam this Australia Day (January 26, 2012), with the appointment of Blue Dragon Founder Michael Brosowski as a Member of the Order of Australia.

Michael accepts this acknowledgement on behalf of his tireless team of staff and volunteers; the thousands of kids throughout Vietnam who Blue Dragon has reached since 2002; and the supporters and donors who have been by their side over the years.

Great news! Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation USA is now set up and running, with a board of volunteers working to change the lives of children in Vietnam.

We are in the process of applying to the United States Internal Revenue Service for 501(c)(3) status. If we receive a favorable determination from the United States Internal Revenue Service, all donations made to Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation USA between now and the date 501(c)(3) status is granted will retrospectively qualify for tax deductibility..

We have been very fortunate to have the support of 100 Friends over the years, and we will continue working together to help disadvantaged children and families. However, for those of you who have donated via 100 Friends in the past or who have a recurring donation, please take a few minutes to set up future donations directly to Blue Dragon.
