For families struggling to put food on the table, school fees are a luxury they simply cannot afford. In Vietnam, countless children drop out of school before Grade Nine and are destined to repeat the cycle of poverty that has trapped their families.
The best way to break this cycle is to keep children in school, where they belong.
For $28AUD per month, you can sponsor a child’s education and support their entire school community. Your monthly donation will pay for all school fees, uniforms, text books and stationery for your sponsored child. In addition, impoverished schools will receive equipment and resources that all students can benefit from.
Blue Dragon’s Educational Sponsorship helps children stay in school, while also creating long term hope for schools and communities.
As a sponsor, you will receive:
- An annual photo of your child
- Your child’s background story
- Annual updates about your child’s progress
- News about other ways your gift is supporting the child, their school and the local community.
Sponsor a child like Quy!
Quy’s parents are rice farmers with a small plot of land. They struggle to survive off what they grow and cannot afford to send Quy to school. When they are not farming, his parents work as doing manual laborers. Still, they have to borrow money to send Quy to school.
Quy is a playful kid who loves to draw. He wants to go to school and learn more about computers.

How do I sign up?
If you are Australian and want your sponsorship to be tax deductible, please download this sponsorship form, fill it in and send it to the address provided on the form.
You can also sign up for sponsorship online through the Australian Federation for the Peoples of Asia and the Pacific (AFAP).

Where it says donation amount, select ‘other’ and enter in $28
Where it says recurring, be sure to select ‘monthly’.
